Privacy Policy
For proper treatment it is necessary that the treating therapist creates a file. This is also a legal obligation imposed by the Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO). Your file contains notes about your state of health and information about the examinations and treatments carried out.
The file also includes information that is necessary for your treatment and that the treating therapist, after your explicit permission, has requested from another care provider, for example from the general practitioner.
We do our best to guarantee your privacy. This means, among other things, that we:
- carefully handle your private medical information;
- make it sure that not qualified people do not have access to your data.
Your treating therapist has sole access to the data in your file.
Your treating therapist has a statutory duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy).
The data from your file can also be used for the following purposes:
- To inform other healthcare providers, for example when the therapy has been completed or when a referral to another therapist is made. This only happens with your explicit permission.
- For use on sighting, during my absence.
- For the anonymized use during peer review.
- A small part of the data from your file is used for the financial administration, so that the treating therapist or his administrator can draw up an invoice.
If the treating therapist wants to use your data for another reason, he or she will first inform you and explicitly ask for your permission.
Privacy on the care bill
The health care bill that you receive contains the information requested by the health insurer, so that you can declare this bill to them.

Rights regarding your data
You have the right to inspect, rectify or delete the personal data we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to have the data provided by you transferred by us to yourself or directly to another party on your instructions. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests.
If we may process your personal data on the basis of permission you have given, you always have the right to withdraw this permission.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we proces
Our website does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without that permission, please contact us and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data EnerGy in Motion processes personal data via the website for the following purposes: to be able to e-mail you if this is necessary, to be able to carry out our services, i.e. answer questions. To be able to inform you about our services by means of newsletters.
Automated decision making
Energy in Motion does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without a human being involved.
How long we keep personal data
Energy in Motion does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which the data is collected. The legal retention period is 20 years for the files and 7 years for the financial administration. We keep your e-mail address in our account until we have dealt with your question or until you are no longer a client with us. No data is stored via the website.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Energy in Motion only provides to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

EnerGy in Motion uses no cookies.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by EnerGy in Motion and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of the personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to the address mentioned below.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
Energy in Motion would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint about the use of your personal data. Please contact me about this in the first instance. If we cannot resolve it together, you can submit a complaint to the complaints coordinator of the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
